Lompoc 2010

Lompoc was our national this year and we got the opportunity to meet with Annie, Sage and Gus. It was like a family reunion! It is so good to know our dogs are with great people and have become family members. I had the opportunity to be the field chair for the GCA coursing which was well attended. Thanks for the support.

On a sidenote, Tess was in charge of the Meet the Breed Booth at Eukanuba show and she had picked a medieval theme to show the british heritage our dogs carry. We ended getting a group 2 placement for our booth.

Lompoc 2009

We enjoyed a solid entry for the Friday specialty with dogs participating from all parts of US and Canada. Hunter managed to get Best in Sweeps under breeder judge Carol Curlee. Sunday he managed to get reserve winners dog under Sharon Krog. Saturday we went coursing and the pups enjoyed a good training session against a strong contingency.

Independence Day Weekend, Ventura CA.2009

Hunter manages to earn 1 point with winners dog on Saturday and Bindi earned Best of Breed both Friday and Saturday. The entry was excellent and we appreciate everyone bringing potluck for all to share. We are all gearing up for the upcoming Lompoc weekend so this was good practice. I will post pictures later.

Lure course trial June 21 2009

We enjoyed a safe and very warm lure course at Prado dog Park in SoCal.
This was the first official trial for these babies and they did wonderfully. Bindi earned her first major (3 points)
and Hunter was a close second collecting 1 point.
Flickers and Rumple ran absolutely awesome and will be tough contenders when they get older. Running littermates can turn into a full fledged play session so we are happy everyone earned quality scores.
All in all, it went smoothly and we all got our butts whipped by an awesome Saluki in BIF. maybe next time.....

P.s. Thanks to Jim Wallace for awesome pictures!
